The women in my department at work held a lovely shower for me at Transmetropolitan on Friday (Halloween!). We received some really terrific gifts including the Spot Mobile from my supervisor, Jennifer! Tripp took a few minutes to disassemble the mobile's innards in order to disable the musicbox so now we can play whatever lullabies we feel like, and don't have to hear "Twinkle, Twinkle" 800,000 times!
Then on Sunday, a couple of neighbors held a little get-together for me! It was really nice to hang out with them, and to get to know everyone a little more. AND - They went in together to purchase the Pack 'n Play!
We'll put the Pack 'n Play (or, playpen) in the family room so I won't always have to lug the little guy upstairs to his crib when he's ready for a nap. Phew!
