I just wanted to post a quick picture of the changing table. Not that the room didn't look like a baby's room before with the crib and all, but I feel like it's finally starting to seem like there will soon be a baby living in there! Now if I could just get all the gifts unpacked and the new clothes washed, we might just be ready to welcome this little guy home!In other news, Tripp and I started our birth preparation class last week.
Preparing for Birth - – With the philosophy that “there is no ‘one right way’ to have a baby,” Full Bloom’s classes will inform and enlighten you. You’ll learn about:We'll meet for a total of six classes with four other couples - two of which are in our midwifery centering group. The instructor, Pat Nielson, is a registered nurse who has worked for 15+ years in the childbirth field. She used to teach and work at Athens Regional in the midwifery department. We are excited to have such a committed birth educator in Athens and look forward to learning everything she has to teach us!

- the role pain plays in normal birth & a variety of strategies to help manage labor pain
- developing a birth plan and the importance of labor support
